MCC Adult Education Programs
- Mission:
- McLennan Community College Adult Education offers a variety of courses designed for adult learners including General Educational Development (GED), English as a Second Language (ESL), Basic Literacy, and Enrichment courses.
- Volunteer Duties:
- Volunteer tutors are needed in the areas of General Educational Development (GED), English as a Second Language (ESL), Basic Literacy, and Enrichment.
- Volunteer Requirements:
- Volunteers in their 20's or older are preferred.
- Training:
- All necessary training is provided on site.
- Time Commitment:
- Available times include Mondays - Thursdays, 9am-12 noon, and 5pm-8pm or 6pm-9pm every evening. Regular commitment is preferred but not required.
- Group Volunteering:
- Groups are welcome.
- Recommended For:
- Those in the fields of education and others.
- Benefits:
- Volunteers gain valuable experience in the field of education, meet new people, and form positive relationships.
